1. Preparation is key. Ingredients for a margarita include Tequila, Cointreau, Fresh Lime Juice and Salt Flakes. Never, ever forget the salt flakes.

2. Don’t overthink it, you gorgeous goat. Collect your thoughts about how your spunk makes you feel and word vomit them onto a page. Simple!

3. It’s usually best to decide on length and tone with your best bud/lover to be pre-scribble. If you’ve had the chat, choose some nuggets from your word vomit and start making sentences.

4. Stay honest, authentic to your own character and relevant to your relationship. Talking sh*t during your vows is worse than having no vows at all.

5. Aim to finish this process whilst consuming 2-6 Margaritas in full. Once you’ve finished, start practicing your words out loud. With a pet is best, they’re always honest.

6. Give your vows to your Celebrant no later than a week out so they can *help* you if needed. Don’t wing it.
